I have taken the first look and feel of the brand new Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II that was released in February and with a sales start in May.
First thing that strike me is the very solid feel of the Camera. It feels very genuine built and grip is much, much better than previous model.
Starting up the Camera. Auto focus is very fast from close up subjects to subjects further away, and AF-tracking works very well. It never looses the subject or persons tracked.
First picture taken from pressing the shutter is very fast and Continuous Shooting in RAW sounds exactly like the EOS 7D Mark II. About 8 frames per second and around 20 frames before slowing down a bit. That is really great, and much, much better that other DSC models on the Market that I know of. Around 30 frames Continuous Shooting in Jpeg before slowing down.
